U.S. Flag retirement Ceremony

On Saturday, August 8, John Paul II Assembly 3504 hosted a U.S. Flag Retirement Ceremony at the home of Faithful Navigator Mike Blakey, in Galt. The ceremony is a solemn, respectful event where worn, faded, or tattered U.S. flags are honorably destroyed by burning, in accordance with the U.S. Flag Code.
