9th Annual Vocations Dinner

Laguna Council was honored to host the 9th annual Diocese of Sacramento Vocations dinner.   This year, BK Carlos Ramos and SK Jeremy Harden Co-Chaired the event that came off with out a hitch.  The team got the entire parish involved as well by putting out a giving tree to get money for Raffle Baskets, setting up a Sign up Genius to enlist the parishioners and as well as our Brother Knights and finally we used the Youth to not only serve but to expose them to the powerful moment of having all our seminarians, our nuns, Priests and Bishop Soto speak to us. The Council purchased a table for the target audience, the Altar Servers.  We had 10 senior Altar Servers in attendance and we pray that some of them may hear the calling from God to serve as a Priest, Deacon or a Nun. This event resulted in a record breaking ($16,000) donation to the Vocations Ministry of Sacramento Diocese.  What a special event.  I’d like to thank BK Carlos Ramos,  SK Jeremy Harden and the ever present Brother

Knights for making all this possible.

God Bless the Knights!
